Sassara - Chiaretto Ciaro, 2020
Light, bright, elegant, with notes of pomegranate, grapefruit, tangerine and wet stone. This supremely crisp, refreshing and well-balanced rosato which we think is the taste of Spring and the colour of Summer.
Describing how this is made highlights the incredible value here! Most vines are over 50 years old meaning low yields and high-quality grapes. 10% of the wine is wild fermented in old oak barrels and the whole wine spends 2 months on lees before bottling.
Motta del Lupo, Paolo Petrilli, 2019
Paolo Petrilli is famous for his tomatoes, regarded as some of the best in Italy, but he's clearly a dab hand at making wine too. From Puglia this is a blend based on the local Nero di Troia grape that offers up lots of cherry fruit, wild herbs and dried floral notes.
Niepoort Drink Me Branco, 2019
