Darriaud Rose is made using hand harvested grapes subjected to the Provencal ‘rosé de presse’ method. This very gentle pressing extracts as much aroma and flavour as possible with the least amount of tannins. The wine is vinified at cool temperatures in stainless steel vats to preserve these delicate aromas and flavours.

Grown on calcareous clay soil, the vineyards are situated at 300 meters from the Cantabrian sea. It's made in very small quantities due to the rarity of the red Hondarrabi Beltz grape, a relative of Cabernet Franc, that gives the colour. The fresh red cherry and cranberry are the perfect match for spring nights.
