Alta Pavina - Citius, 2016
The Ortega brothers Diego and Hugo are the mad men behind the planting of Pinot Noir in Castilla y Leon. The secret is the cool influenced vineyard site they chose and the expertise onboard of one Claude Bourgignon, the vineyard manager at the Romanee-Conti. Yep, this is Spain's DRC!
Colet Gran Cuvee Rosé, 2016
The fruit for all of Colet’s wines is entirely sourced from their own estate in Pacs del Penedès and Sant Marti Sarroca. A coral pink coloured cava with a decent creamy mousse that's perfect for memorable meals.
Gaintza Txakolina Rosado, 2019
Grown on calcareous clay soil, the vineyards are situated at 300 meters from the Cantabrian sea. It's made in very small quantities due to the rarity of the red Hondarrabi Beltz grape, a relative of Cabernet Franc, that gives the colour. The fresh red cherry and cranberry are the perfect match for spring nights.
